Shell and tube type heat exchanger ( shell and tube heat exchanger ) also known as tubular heat exchanger. Is enclosed in a housing wall as the heat transfer surface of tube bundle heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has the advantages of simple structure, reliable operation, can be used for various structural materials (mainly metal material ) manufacturing, can be in high temperature, high pressure, is the most widely used type.
Fixed tube sheet heat exchanger tubes at both ends of the tube plate and shell are connected into integration, and has the advantages of simple structure, but only for the hot and cold fluid temperature difference, and the shell does not need mechanical cleaning of heat exchanger operation. When the temperature difference is slightly larger and the shell pressure is too high, can be installed on the shell elastic compensation ring, to decrease the thermal stress.
